Freida Feigel

Freida Feigel, age 73, affectionately known as ‘Granny', passed away on February 25, 2019 in Gulfport, MS, surrounded by family. She was a resident of Bay St. Louis, and had lived in Diamondhead for the last five years. She was born in Shelby, NC to James and Esther Dover and attended Crest High School in Cleveland County, NC.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Betty Davis; and one brother, Randy Dover.
She is survived by her three children, Angie Crawford (Bryan) of Diamondhead, Michael Johnson (Delana) of Lake, MS, Chris Johnson (Megan) of Shelby, NC; two step-sons, Jack Feigel (Melissa) of Bay St. Louis, Jamie Feigel (Tracy) of Bay St. Louis; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer Piazza (Chandler), Jake Crawford (Ashley), Joe Crawford, Leann Campbell, Brittany Johnson, Ariel Johnson, Troy Johnson, Brittany Feigel, Jamie Reid, Taylor Feigel, and Ty Feigel; seven great-grandchildren, Jaxon Piazza, Mason Piazza, Dawson Piazza, Jayden McDowell, Alyssa McDowell, Corey Ellis, Mason Ellis; one great-granddaughter on-the-way, Olivia Piazza; siblings, Kay Neisler(Chuck), Patsy Jones, Jerry Dover (Judy), Kathy Auton, Lonnie Dover; and a brother-in-law, Wade Davis.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on her birthday, April 6, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Clermont Harbor United Methodist Church.
