Fredrick Shipman

Mr. Fredrick J. ""Yankee"" Shipman, age 60, formerly of St. Bernard and resident of Diamondhead, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Shipman was born in Lake Placis, NY to Merritt and Marion Ledwith Shipman. He was of the Catholic faith and an avid Saints fan. His family was the center of his world, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Steve and Thomas Shipman, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Shipman of Dimaondhead; daughter, Dawn (Daddy's Princess) Ory and her husband, Paul Ory, Jr.; grandchildren, Macie, Madeline, and Zachary Ory; brother, Scott Shipman and his wife, Debbie; and sister, Penny S. Buffington and her husband, Phil.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, at 11:00 a.m. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
