Fredericka Frances Jacobs

Fredericka Frances Sinclaire Fox Jacobs, age 78 of Gulfport, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Fox and Edith Edwards; her husband, Elliotte Jacobs I; and son, Roger Richardson.

Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her brother, Mussie Fox; sister, Jodie Ann Payne; children, Sonya (David) Shephard, Sharon Richardson, Sheena (Arthur) Green, Solita Johnson, Samantha (Kery) Davis, Elliotte (Fiona) Jacobs II and Sabrina Jacobs and her fiancé, Jay Reece; grandchildren, Latasha Richardson, Keith and Arianne Swanier, Joseph “JB” Piernas, Jr., Jason Piernas, Joshua Lykes, Briana Martin, Chardo Richardson, Frederick Kennedy, Chevon Narcisse, John Jr., Randy, Shane Johnson, Tyler and Ryane Davis, Aiden Jacobs, Milan Taylor, Asia Jacobs, and Milas Reece, III; 32 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Fredericka was born in Bermuda and was a long time resident of Gulfport, Ms. She was a woman of many passions. In her early years she loved real estate as she owned her own brokerage firm Freddie Fox Realty in Long Beach. In her later years, her main passion was researching her ancestry and keeping up with all the branches of her family tree. She loved to travel and played Bingo every chance she got. She would say “You never meet strangers playing bingo”. She was a collector of all things. She was so loving and kind and could talk to anyone about anything. If needed, she would give you her last dollar. She loved to laugh and watch her Hallmark movies. There wasn’t a Christmas or Horse movie she didn’t like. Fredericka loved spending time with her family and sharing stories about her Bermuda ancestry. She loved her family more than life and never stopped encouraging them to be better versions of themselves. She was loved by so many and will be forever missed.
