After getting married, he and his wife moved to the beautiful town of Bay St. Louis where he had enjoyed summers during his childhood. He spent most of his life in the International Trade Business where he served as President of the Traffic Club of Greater New Orleans and on the Board of Directors of the World Trade Club. He was frequently recognized for his outstanding service and dedication to his industry by his peers and the City of New Orleans.
After retiring, he stayed active in his community with an honorary life membership in the Bay Saint Louis Chamber of Commerce. He was an active member of Our Lady of the Gulf Church and volunteered at the local Headstart program where he was an Honorary Grandpa.
Outside of the love for his family and his church, he cherished many things including his morning coffee group, fishing, golfing, gardening, and his long time love- the New Orleans Saints (who won Superbowl XLIV on his 88th Birthday).
