Freda Mae Quesenberry

Freda Mae Quesenberry of Gulfport, MS gained her angel wings on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the age of 82. She is loved by all who knew her. She loved her husband of 65 years and family dearly. She was generous of heart and spirit. She loved family get togethers and playing rummy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jennings Gillespie and Bertie Alice Pennington Gillespie; brothers, Garfield Gillespie, James Gillespie, Harold Gillespie, Herbert Gillespie; sisters, Joyce Bowen, Phyllis Meredith and Janet Meredith; and grandson, Reagan Thomas Grubb. 

Freda is survived by her husband, Travis Quesenberry; children, Brian “Jay” Quesenberry (Jeanne), Thomas Quesenberry (Mariela), Sheila Casey (Michael), and Dana Quesenberry (Chad); grandchildren, John “Travis” Quesenberry, Jennifer Creech (Mickey), Matthew Usmiller, Alisha Usmiller, Laura Usmiller, Morgan Palmer (Chris), and Megan Shook (Brandon); and 4 great grandchildren. 

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a dedicated mother, and grandmother. She was generous of heart and always the life of the party.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 20, 2023, at St Joseph Catholic Church, 12290 Depew Road, Gulfport, MS starting at 10:00am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. A private burial will take place at Biloxi National Cemetery.
