Fred Stephens, Jr.

Fred Busch Stephens, Jr., age 74, of Woolmarket, MS, passed away on February 2, 2022.

Fred was a native of Biloxi, MS and lived in Woolmarket, MS.  He was medically retired as a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Southern Miss.  Mr. Stephens retired from the Veterans Affairs Office and opened he own photography business. Fred loved photography, dirt biking, NASCAR, playing with his dogs, and spending time with his wife.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fred B. Stephens, Sr. and Inez Stephens (Wentzell), and his wife of 21 years, Frances Abelene Stephens (Canterbury.

Mr. Stephens is survived by his sister, Nancy DeCoux of Florida; his nephews, Cody W. Canterbury (Marley), Clint Decoux, Blake Decoux (Chelsea); his great nephews, Cambell and Cooper Decoux; and great niece, Emory Elizabeth Decoux.

Fred was a good man and a loving husband, who put other before himself.  He will be missed by a host of family and friends.  As Fred would say “Return things better than you got it”.
