Fred Sneed

d. December 15, 2007

Fred Payton Sneed, age 16 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Saturday, December 15, 2007 in Pearlington.
Fred is the precious son of Arkel and Jacqueline Sneed, grandson of Granny Kay Wedgeworth of Saucier, MS and the late Larry Wedgeworth, the late Arkel Sneed Sr. & Ann Beth Sneed Sr. and great grandson to Gladys Grammy Bastian of Gulfport.
He is the brother of Travis Sneed & his wife Tabby of Slidell, LA, Michael Steen of Slidell, LA, Alitha Jones- Sneed of Franklinton, LA, Kimber Sneed of Kemah, TX, & Victoria Polk-Sneed of Long Beach. Fred is loved by many extended family and friends.
Fred knew his Lord and Savior at a young age and attended Gulf Coast Worship Center. He was our loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and light to those around him. He played football for Long Beach High School and worked at Choice grocery store in Long Beach in the evenings. Fred loved to fish and play golf with his brothers and Dad, and just be with his very large family. His favorite holiday is Thanksgiving and he loved baking the pies for everyone. Fred was a very loving boy who was loved deeply and will be missed even more. He always had a big hug for anyone who needed one especially his Grammy. His charisma and contagious smile will be remembered by all that knew him. He was his Dad's Little Blonde Monkey Boy because he always clung to his Dad with huge hugs. Lord please keep our Baby Boy until you bring us home too.
Fred will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Gulf Coast Worship Center located at 18381 28th Street Long Beach, MS 39560.
Rather than floral arrangements the family resectfully requests that a love offering be made to GCWC for the sponsoship of a foster child's Christmas.
THE RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach is in charge of arrangements.
