Franklin E. Royals, age 74 and a resident of Saucier, died on Saturday, May 25, 2008, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Royals was a native of Register, GA and had been a resident of Saucier for the past 32 years. He served in the US Air Force for 21 years and served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Gulfport.
Mr. Royals is preceded in death by his parents, Ivy & Emma Hood Royals; four brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rose Sylvia Royals of Saucier; his son, Justin (Briana) Royals of Saucier; his grandsons, Ayden and Daulton Royals, both of Saucier; his brother, Fred Royals; his sisters, Mandy Talley of Montgomery, AL and Ellen Osbourne of Pooler, GA.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at 11:00am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach.
