Franklin Thomas Barnes, Age 52, of Gulfport, Mississippi passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Tulane Hospital.
Frank was born on June 18, 1967 in Honalulu, Hawaii to Mary Ernestine and Kenneth Roger Barnes. He was the second of six siblings. Frank loved his family very much. He enjoyed spending time with them at family get-togethers, summer vacations and family New Year's. He always tried to find ways to help them. In his younger years, he served as a business partner with his parents. After the passing of his father, he helped his mother become more independent. He helped her with her finances, taught her to drive, and assisted her in purchasing her own home. In her sickly days, he was by her side with anything she needed. His home was an open door to all of his siblings if they needed a place to stay.
Frank worked for Cannon as a copier technician Engineer. He loved to fix things and had the reputation of, "if it's broken, bring it to Frank." He also loved to fish, play video games and play blackjack or poker. He will be remembered most of all for his corney jokes at the most random times. He loved animals and always had pets in his home. His dogs, Lily and Snoopy, especially miss him now.
Frank was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was a faithful, devoted Catholic and loved Jesus.
Frank is survived by his siblings and in-laws: Kitty LaBorde, Dottie Boutin, Paul Barnes-Dickens (Marc), Jenny Hollingsworth (Matt), Debbie Feister (Greg) and (Louis LaBorde)
Frank is survived by numerous nieces and nephews: Beth, Michelle, Amanda (Steven), Maggie, Joel, Tina, Kyle, Aubrey, Tyler, Adam, Emily, Breanna, Mackenzie, Kamryn, Parker, Vance, Jadence and Wyatt.
Frank is preceeded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 29, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving the family.
