Frankie Gunter, age 55 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, in Gulfport.
Frankie was a resident of Long Beach for the past 21 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a former longtime employee of Riemann Funeral Home. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and song-writer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Ann Dent Gunter.
Frankie is survived by his children, Talia Gunter (Jeff) Lock of Long Beach, Tarin Gunter (Robert) Ariatti of Miami, FL, and Caleb Gunter of Long Beach; his sister, Sheree Cagle of Pensacola, FL; his grandchildren, Aiden Lock, Dalton Lock, and Maylin Ariatti; his former spouse, Debra, and other loving family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2010, from 4pm-6pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010, at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
