Frank J. Rodzos

Frank J. Rodzos, a cherished husband, father, Papa, and distinguished veteran who proudly served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, in Ocean Springs, MS. He was born on May 30, 1944, in Almont, MI to the late Stella Rodzos.  

During his military career, Frank served his country with honor and distinction during the Vietnam War.  After his tour he continued to serve with the Air Force in various roles such as an instructor, recruiter, communications specialist and many other capacities where needed. His commitment to duty and his unwavering dedication were evident throughout his service.

Beyond his military accomplishments, Frank was a man of many talents and passions. He found joy in hunting, fishing, and showcasing his skills as a master craftsman. Additionally, he was a longstanding member of the First Baptist Church in Vancleave where he found solace and community.

Frank's proudest accomplishments were not only limited to his professional life but extended to his role as a loving and devoted family man. He was a pillar of strength and love for his family. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 55 years Rose M. (nee Tomlin) Rodzos; son Frank (Jamie) Rodzos III, daughter Amy Josephine (Keith) Rodzos Garrison; devoted Papa to Blake Melton, Joanna Garrison, Flint Rodzos, Zaylie Rodzos; his sisters Joie (Al) Titus and Tricia (Randy) Thompson as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Frank was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emily Ray, and his mother, Stella Rodzos. 

In the hearts of those who knew him best, Frank will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. His legacy of service and love will continue to inspire all those whose lives he touched.

Per his request private family services with Air Force Honors will be held.
