Frank J. Potter, Sr., age 57, of Long Beach, died on December 12, 2007 in Gulfport.
Known by his friends as """"Uncle Frank"""", """"Frank-O"""", and """"Colonel Potter"""". Mr. Potter served in in U.S. Air Force at Barksdale Air Force Base as a Staff Sergeant and a jet engine mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin J. Potter, Sr. and Marion Vetters.
Mr. Potter is survived by his children, Valerie Marie Potter of Covington, LA, Frank James Potter, Jr, and Jaqueline Eve Potter; three grandchildren, Clifford James Potter, David Joseph Potter, and William Wade Potter, all of Covington; a brother, Alvin J. Potter, Jr of Anchorage, AL; and his best friend, James """"Buck"""" Buckmaster.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. Friends may call from Noon until service time on Monday.
