Frank Overlaur

Retired Master Sgt. Frank J. Overlaur, age 76 passed away on Wednesday, March 29th. Frank, a native of Allentown, PA, has been a resident of Gulfport, MS since 1976.
Frank is a decorated veteran of the US Air Force having served for over 21 years and 2 tours during the Vietnam Conflict. He was awarded the AF Outstanding Unit Award and an AF Commendation Medal for meritorious service. After retiring from the Air Force, he went on to a career at the Biloxi VA Hospital, retiring in 2002.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Dorothy; three children, Michael (Kristine) Overlaur of Temecula, CA, Kevin (Lori) Overlaur of Birmingham, AL and Lisa (Chris) Garner, of Abita Spring, LA.; three grandchildren Steven Overlaur of Mobile, AL, Leigh Ann Overlaur of Birmingham, AL and Marcus Garner of Lacombe, LA; one sister, Diane (Don) Vogelin of Bethlehem, PA; sister-in-law, Grace (John) Ritter of Bethlehem, PA, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 3rd from 1pm - 2pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi with interment to follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the North Shore Covington Louisiana Humane Society.
