Frank John Moses, age 71, of Gulfport, MS died November 19, 2009 in Gulfport, surrounded by his family.
Frank was a third generation owner of Moses Dept. Store, downtown Gulfport. Born and raised in the family business, he and his brother grew a small family business into a fashion leader known coast wide. Five generations strong and the store still operating successfully after 90 years in business, it was his constant source of pride.
A graduate of Gulfport High School, Frank was also an avid fisherman. His love of our coastal waters was what he enjoyed sharing most with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Anneas Moses; a son, Scott Moses, and a nephew, Marc Moses.
He is survived by his son, David Moses and his wife, Kelly; grandsons, Brian and Justin Moses; great granddaughters, Kayla and Addilyn Moses; a brother, Anneas aÌ‚â‚Å“J.R.aÌ‚â‚ Moses, Jr. and his wife, Pam; and a nephew, Chase Moses, and his wife, Shellie, and their son, Chase Moses.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
