Frank Lee "Buddy" Moran

Mr. FrankLee ""Buddy"" Moran, age 81, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011, at home with his family by his side.
Mr. Moran was born in Harrison County to Franklin and Viola Cuevas Moran. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Lizana and worked at Indal Aluminum for 38 years before retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, hunting, fishing, farming, and taking care of his herd of cows.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Glen and Earick Moran; grandchild, Krystal Lizana; and great grandchildren, Jada Miley and Adam Peterson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Norine Moran; daughters, Linda and Larry Cowart, Gail and David Ladner, Ruth and August Schonewitz, Emmie and Ronald Tubbs, all of Lizana, Darlene and Billy Billingsley, of Saucier, and Melanie Seaman of Biloxi; sons, Frankie and Vicki Moran of D'Iberville, and John Moran and Timothy Moran of Lizana; siblings, James, Francis, and Norvell Moran, all of Lizana, Buster Moran, of Lyman, and Dorothy Scott of Pensacola; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 expected great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2011, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11213 Highway 49 North, Gulfport, from 6-9 pm, with recitation of the Rosary at 7 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Lizana, at 11 a.m., where friends may visit from 10-11 a.m.
Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
