Frank Eugene LoPresto

Frank Eugene LoPresto, age 90, of Long Beach, passed away on December 27, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Hyatt LoPresto; his parents, Salvatore “Sam” LoPresto and Jennie Barrale LoPresto; his siblings, Sam LoPresto, Jr, Paul LoPresto, Louis LoPresto, Lawrence LoPresto, Marion LoPresto, Joseph LoPresto, Mary LoPresto, and Margaret Maxey. 

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa LoPresto Lute; 2 grandsons, Robert Lute and Christopher (Roberta) Lute; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. LoPresto was a native of Long Beach and he served in the U.S. Army for 6 years during the Korean War. He worked as a draftsman at Ingalls Shipbuilding and retired after 25 years of dedicated service. He loved going to the casino, watching football, going to the dog track and horse track.

The family would like to thank the nurses at Memorial Hospital on 7-D for taking care of Mr. LoPresto making sure he was comfortable at all times.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 8:30 – 9:30 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
