Frank Mitchell Eaton, MSgt, ret., USAF, age 72, and a resident of Ocean Springs, died May 8, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, and was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the US Air Force for 21 years, and retired as a Master Sergeant. He retired to Ocean Springs and worked for McDonalds and for Coastliner.
Mr. Eaton was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Mayme Eaton; and his brothers, Clyde, Gene, Melvin, Sam and Billy.
He is survived by his wife, Martha B. Eaton of Ocean Springs; four children, Roberta Humphrey and husband Russell, Ruth Overstreet and husband Robert, Martha Graham and husband Dave, and Kathy Winans, and husband Danny; sister: Gyda Mae Hinton and husband Dick; five grandchildren, Melissa and Daniel Overstreet, Danielle and Ashley Winans, and Mitchell Randolph Humphrey; and sisters-in-law, Doris Eaton, and Lois Clark and husband Leon.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2008 at Biloxi National Cemetery. The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Biloxi, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fisher House, 509 Fisher St., Keesler AFB, MS 39534.
