Frank W. Buck, age 74, of Ocean Springs, formerly of Handsboro, passed away on September 28, 2011 in Ocean Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn L. and Gail Buck; and two brothers, Glenn H. Buck of New Orleans and James ""Jim"" Buck of Tyler, TX.
He is survived by his sister, Margaret Ann Buck Marks of Gulfport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He attended Gulfport schools and graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Perkinston Campus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served overseas. Upon his return to the Gulf Coast, he worked for Dairy Fresh and retired after 25 years with City Lumber / Wilkes Door Company. He enjoyed dirt track racing and NASCAR. He was a faithful member of LeMoyne Blvd Baptist Church, Biloxi.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the LeMoyne Blvd Baptist Church, Biloxi, with a visitation from Noon until 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
