Francis "Frank" Linenberger

Francis ""Frank"" Norbert Linenberger passed away on Friday, November 5, 2010, in Gulfport.
Frank was born in Hays, Kansas in 1931. He moved to Oregon as a teen ager and quickly joined the newly formed U.S. Air Force. He served for 23 years and then retired at Keesler AFB. After leaving the military, Frank went on to work a nearly thirty-year career at the Veteran's Administration, earning his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi along the way. He retired with more than fifty years of federal service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Alvin, Arlin and Robert; and sister Betty.
He is survived by his brother Don; his six children, Ranza Fitzgibbon, Frank Linenberger Jr., Robert Linenberger, Lance Linenberger, Michael Linenberger, and Susan Steele; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 6:00pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
