Frances Wren

(Elinor) Frances Wren, age 87, of Long Beach, MS, passed away on December 10, 2024. 

She was born on November 23, 1937, in Vicksburg, MS to the late Thomas Wilkerson and Lynn (née Miller) Wilkerson. Fran was one of the kindest, the most loving, and the most caring person that anyone could ever hope to meet. Fran was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Michael Wren. Fran is survived by her son, Robert (Brita); her grandchildren, Dylan, Delaney, Destiny, Michael, and Rory; and her great grandchildren, Kathryne, Duane, Xavier, Jennie and Micah. She is also survived by her sister, Marianne Alexander; her brother, John Wilkerson (Debra); and several nieces, nephews and friends. She is fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Bible Fellowship Church, 7030 Menge Ave, Pass Christian, MS.

On Monday, December 16, 2024, there will be a Graveside Service held at 11:00 am at  Long Beach City Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.

In lieu of flowers, we would like to honor Fran and her giving spirit. You are welcome to make donations in her memory to Bible Fellowship Church BFC, Honduran Backpack Project HBP, or the Humane Society of South Mississippi HSSM

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation for the loving care provided to Fran by Notre Dame Hospice and Southern Living Assistance Services (SLAS). 

Fran will leave a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her kind and loving demeanor were a rare commodity which she freely shared with all she met…without exception. To know Fran was to know her great love that had it’s source in her belief in Jesus Christ who had poured His great love into her heart…and she shared it with all. Rest in peace in the presence of the Lord, Fran, until He comes for His church. Rest in peace
