Mrs. Frances Dauro Killegrew, age 93 and a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, died on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 in Biloxi. She was a member of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Killegrew is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent & Angelina Trippe Dauro; her husband, John Martin Killegrew; her sister, Theresa Dauro Schepens and her brothers, M.J. Dauro, Sam Dauro, Johnny Dauro, Charlie Dauro, Joe Dauro, Vincent Dauro, Dennis Dauro, and Angelo Dauro.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty K. Matthews (Claude) Johnson of Biloxi and Martha K. (Al) Ladnier of Delisle; her sons, Johnnie Killegrew of Long Beach and Richard Killegrew of Gulfport; her sister, Mary Dauro Hansen of Long Beach; her grandchildren, Cathy Riemann, Jim Matthews, Kent Killegrew, Kevin Killegrew, Angela Ryland, Melinda Killegrew, Melissa Handlin, Suzanne Killegrew, Kathleen Killegrew, Eric Ladnier, and Ray Ladnier; her great grandchildren, Morgan Riemann, Savannah Matthews, and John Ryland; her step-grandson, Claude F. Johnson; and her daughter-in-law, Yvonne Ladner Killegrew of Long Beach.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, September 25, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 5557 Daughtery Road in Long Beach. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Thomas Catholic Church, P.O. Box 1529, Long Beach, MS 39560 or to Quality Hospice, 15164 Dedeaux Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
