Floyd Ray

Floyd Joseph Ray, age 75, of Long Beach, passed away on July 12, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Grady Ray and Vera Mae Ott Ray; his siblings, Bobbie Ray Barnett, Daniel Ray, Jr., and Wayne Ray; and a special aunt, Hilda Ott.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joyce Ray; his children, Nancy Ray and Joey Ray; his sister-in-law, Dee Dee Ray; his brother, Spunky Ray (Liz); and his grandchildren, Amery and Amilee Martin.
Floyd served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He was employed with C.E. Natco and retired from Mississippi Power Company.
Floyd loved spending time with family and friends, fishing, and "Cruisin' the Coast".
The family would like to thank everyone, especially extended family, friends, doctors, and nurses, who helped and loved Floyd during his long struggle with cancer.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, from 5 - 7 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
