Florine Davis

Florine Eckhardt Davis, age 79, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 in Crestview, FL. She was employed with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce for over 30 years. She was a longtime member at Ramsay Memorial United Methodist Church in Gulfport where she volunteered as the bookkeeper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Eckhardt and Olivia Immel Eckhardt; husband, John Davis; son, Matthew Mitchell; daughter, Lorrie Mitchell; brother, Roland Eckhardt; granddaughter, Stephanie Mitchell.
She is survived by her sons, John D. Mitchell (Nancy) of Benton, KY, Mark Mitchell (Sherry) of Crestview, FL, Larry Mitchell (Tammie) of Aledo, TX, Michael Mitchell (Rebecca) of Temple, GA and Phillip Mitchell (Ruth) of Escatawpa; 7 grandchildren, William Mitchell, Sarah Pacheco, Emerald Mitchell, Christina George, Kendrick Fuller, Joshua Mitchell and Ashlyn Mitchell; 2 great-grandchildren, Brayden Pacheco and Kasyn Pacheco.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Ramsay Memorial United Methodist Church, 12472 Dedeaux Rd, Gulfport from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the church. A burial will follow the service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Gulfport.
