Florence Smith Odom Snyder, 87, of Gulfport, died Thursday, April 12, 2007 in Gulfport.
She was a native of Crandle, MS and lived most of her life on the coast. Mrs. Snyder was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Andrew Bynum Odom and Paul Snyder; her parents; 2 sons, Edward Lee Odom and William Ronald Odom; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Ellen JoAnn Odom, and a son-in-law, Edward A. Lizana.
Survivors include 5 sons: Joe (Jean) Spence, Pascagoula, James Odom, Saucier, Bob (Gwen) Odom, Vancleave, Richard (Riki) Odom, Gulfport, and Danny (Venetta) Odom, Lumberton; 2 daughters: Mary (Kenneth) Cuevas and Joyce Lizana, both of Saucier; a daughter-in-law, Dovie Odom, LaGrange, GA; 30 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 15, 2007 from 5 - 8 pm at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road Chapel, Gulfport. The funeral service will be 11 am Monday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery.
