Florence Salley

Florence Ellen Prestridge Salley, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on November 9, 2022.

Florence Ellen was a resident of Perkinston, Ms. She and her husband of 59 years raised their three children in Miami, Fl.

She loved to be with her family. She was also a very talented painter and loved to travel and tend to her many plants.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Carver; parents, James and Maebelle Prestridge; brother, George Prestridge Sr.; and two sisters, Audrey Luwisch and Linda Tannehill.

Florence Ellen was survived by her husband, James Curtis Salley Jr,; two sons, James Russell Salley, and Curtis Randall (Sarah) Salley; and her brother, Jimmy Prestidge. She was blessed with seven grandchildren. She also left behind many nephews, nieces, and other family members.

There will be no service at this time. Thank you to everyone for the support and condolences given to the family during this difficult time.
