Florence Cuevas

Florence "Flossie"  Ellen Cuevas, age 73, of Kiln, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

To most people Florence was better known as Flossie. With her outgoing tell it like it is personality, everyone that was fortunate enough to cross paths with her was sure to love her. Whether you called her Florence, Flossie, Mrs. Cuevas, Mom, or Maw, she was sure to put a smile on your face and laughter in your heart. She will forever be loved and missed, but never ever forgotten.

She was a loving mother, whom adored her two beautiful girls, Angela and Maranda. She was also a proud grandmother and great grandmother that loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family. Because of her true commitment to her family, she will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vardaman Spiers, Sr. and Mary Kirschenheuter Spiers; her daughter, Rebecca Robin Cuevas; three brothers, Vardaman Spiers, Jr., Johnny Spiers, Arthur “Tommy” Spiers, Sr; and two sisters, Mary “Louise” Jackson and Doris “Dottie” Favre.

She is survived by her companion Verman Favre; daughters, Angela (Randy Daniels) Cuevas and Maranda (Terri Fleetwood) Cuevas; four grandchildren, Shanee (Derric), Lanee  (Jeffery) Laten and Leilani; and four great grandchildren, Drayden, Draycee, Jensyn, and Jance.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at 11:00am, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00am. Interment will follow at Evergreen Gardens.
