Flora Mae Chiniche, age 67 and a resident of Long Beach, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011, in Gulfport.
She was a lifelong resident of Long Beach and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo.
Mrs. Chiniche is preceded in death by her parents, Pomalone & Lilly Necaise Hoda; her husband, Salvador Chiniche, Sr.; her brothers, Dewey Hoda, Floyd Hoda, Norman Hoda, Leon Hoda, and Herman Hoda and a grandson, J.T. Tucker.
She is survived by her children, Robin Chiniche Bosarge (Randy Whitfield), Connie Tucker (Jeff), and Stephanie Chiniche all of Long Beach, Savie Chiniche, Jr. (Pam) of Pass Christian, and Melva Erhard (Kevin) of Gulfport; her sisters, Marion Lafontaine (George), Dot Bermond (Vernon), and Carolyn Hoda all of Bay St. Louis; her brother, Ronald Hoda (Rita) of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Donnie, Brandi, Amber, Ashley, Olivia, and Dakota and one great granddaughter, Delancey.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at 2:00pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery in Long Beach.
