Fay Irene Hogan

June 5, 1972 — February 18, 2025

Pass Christian, MS

Fay (Clark) Hogan, 52, of Pass Christian, Mississippi, went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2025, with complications of Guillain-Barre’ syndrome, after spending a year and 10 months living with the disease. Fay was born on June 6, 1972, to Diane (Ladner) Hogan and Johnny Hogan in Pass Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents Johnny and Irene Hogan. She is survived by her husband Richard Clark. Fay graduated from Pass Christian High School. Fay’s life was full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, goodbyes and farewells. She always gave her best. She always enjoyed riding with her father on wrecker calls in his truck. She also loved sitting in the yard and watching the floats in the Pass Christian Madi Gras parade. One of her passions was singing Christian hymns and she did so with passion at Cornerstone Baptist Church, in Pass Christian, where she was a member. She loved her church family dearly and was always willing to help others. She was a devoted wife and friend to many. She never met a stranger. A celebration of life will be Saturday, March 8th at 11 AM at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Pass Christian with Pastor Don Beardon officiating. Burial will be in Rotten Bayou in Diamondhead, Mississippi, next to her Mother at a later date.

 FAY’S JOURNEY

Don’t think of her as gone away her journey has just begun… Life held so many facets, this earth was only one.

Think of her as resting now from the sorrows and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days or years.

And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched, for nothing loved is ever lost and Fay loved so very much.

I’M FREE

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free

I’m following the path, God laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard Him call,

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way,

I found that peace at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,

Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,

I wish you all the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life’s been full, I’ve savored much,

Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,

Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me,

God wanted me now; He set me free.
