Faye Collins

Doris “Faye J” Collins, age 85, of Long Beach, departed this life August 20, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth C. Collins, her parents, Emmett D. and Gladys Johnson, and a sister, Norma Jean Bullard.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey C. Collins (Sindy), a brother, Travis D. Johnson (Marie), a niece, Kimberly Johnson-Smith (Dave), nephew, Dalton Johnson, and many other family and friends.

Mrs. Collins was a native and lifelong resident of the coast and she retired as an Account Services Manager at Hancock Bank after 34 years of service.  She was a faithful member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she served as Past Worthy Matron of Chapter 306 in Long Beach, Past Worthy High Priestess for the Peace Shrine of Jerusalem in Gulfport, and Past Worthy Grand Organist for the Grand Chapter of the State of MS Order of the Eastern Star.  She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Long Beach and she was a member of the Hancock Bank Retirees Association.

Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2021, from 5 – 7 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  The funeral service will be Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment to follow in Long Beach City Cemetery.
