Fay J. Webb, age 86, resident of Long Beach, passed away on October 24, 2022.

Mrs. Webb was born in Keirn, MS to Claud Leake and Fay Wallace Jones.  She graduated from Greenwood High School, attended MSCW, and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree.  She was a retired teacher and counselor with Long Beach Public Schools.  Prior to her teaching career, in her memoirs she said, “I was a full-time Girl Scout.  That was fun.”  She was known to be feisty and quick witted along with very humorous.  Her favorite time of year was Halloween, ironically the same day as her life’s celebration.  She was an avid Ole Miss fan who cheered endlessly even during the many losing seasons.  She and Charlie created a unique world filled with family and friends from multiple generations from all over the country.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Charlie of 52 years; her parents; and her siblings, William Jones and Claud Leake Jones, Jr.

She is survived by her niece, Heather Fay Jones and nephew, Claud Leake Jones, III (Clara); and her treasured extended family; the Paulson Family from Yazoo City, the Taylor Family from Long Beach, the Borzik Family from Long Beach, and Colleen, Gannon, the Leary Family from Long Beach, and the Webb Family from Mississippi, New Jersey, and Texas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, from 9:00-10:00 am.  Graveside services will follow at 11:00 am at Biloxi National Cemetery.
