Everett Stanley Gilkerson

Everett Stanly Gilkerson, age 73, of Waveland, passed away on September 27, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Nellie King Gilkerson; and his sister, Donna Gilkerson Vollmer.

Everett is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane S. Banzhof Gilkerson; his children, Danny Gilkerson (Breena), Clifton Gilkerson, and Chad Gilkerson; his siblings, Mary Gilkerson Fawcett (Gordon), Ralph Gilkerson, and Ruth Ann Gilkerson Rowland (Allan); his grandchildren, Daniel, Noah, Jayden, Dillon, Jordana, Chloe, Kayla, Baylee, and Addie; and great-grandchildren, Tripp and William.

Everett was a native of Falls City, Nebraska where he attended Falls City High School. He was employed by the Hancock County Sheriff's Department and enjoyed fishing. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 9 - 11 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 141 Hwy 90, Waveland.  The family is asking everyone to dress casual.
