Evelyn Thompson

Evelyn Maxine Bragg Thompson, a resident of Diamondhead, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at her home in Diamondhead.
Mrs. Thompson is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Leon Thompson; her daughter, Janet Lynn Cantrell; her son-in-law, Laverne Cantrell; mother, Stella Faye Johnson and her stepfather, George Fred Johnson.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Sharon Lee Wolfe of Edmond, OK; her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Joe McDonald of Bethany, OK; her brother, Bill Johnson of Fort Worth, TX; her grandsons, Wesley David Cantrell, Jon Trevor Cantrell and Andrew Kendall Wolfe; and her four great grandchildren, Gracie Lynn Cantrell, Skyler Machelle Cantrell, Zamian Joel Cantrell, and Emmerie Cantrell.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 2:00pm at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Diamondhead. There will be a reception immediately following the services at the church. A private burial will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to those who cared for Mrs. Thompson at Hancock Medical Center, and especially to Trinity Hospice workers, Charlotte and Linda, who cared for her so lovingly. A special thank you to her special friends, Marien Casano, M&M Fargason, Sue & Johnny Stewart and Marge Edwards for their love and support.
