Mrs. Evelyn Sinclair Moyer, age 94 of Pass Christian, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Moyer was a native and lifetime resident of New Orleans where she was a member of the Junior League and Colonial Dames. She had been a resident of Pass Christian since 1985 where she was a member of the Pass Christian Yacht Club and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pass Christian.
Mrs. Moyer is preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Walker & Mary Colcock Sinclair; her husband, Robert Kirk Moyer, Sr.; her two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Marietta (Avery) Stirratt of Metairie and Blair (Alex) Lambert of Pass Christian; her son, Robert Kirk (Micey) Moyer, Jr. of Metairie; her sister, Nellie Sinclair Hillyer of Pass Christian; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to any one of the following: First United Methodist Church, 526 E. 2nd Street, Pass Christian, MS 39571, Methodist Home for Children, 815 Washington Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70130, or to one's favorite charity.
A private service will be held at a later date. The Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Kiln DeLisle Road Chapel is in charge of arrangements and an online guestbook may be signed at www.gulfcoastfh.com.
