Eva Mae Esquivel, age 85, resident of Ocean Springs, died on Sunday, June 3, 2007 in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Esquivel, a mother of six, was a caregiver, not only to her family, but to many others as well. She formerly worked at Back Bay Mission and the Salvation Army. She enjoyed making jewelry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Esquivel and her parents, Mr. Gilbert Ortego and Mrs. Ava Emanuel Ortego.
She is survived by her children, Gilbert, Marie D., Joseph, Rebecca, Eva, and Rudolph; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Gilbert, Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
