Etta Marie Ladnier

Etta Marie Ladnier, age 88, of Long Beach, entered the gates of Heaven on January 16, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Elizabeth Dunn, her brothers, Wilbur Dunn, William St. Clair Dunn, Woodrow Patterson, and Roy Patterson and a great-grandchild, Raemi Gundlach.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Douglas R. Ladnier, her children, Ronald Ladnier, Samuel (Margaret) Ladnier, and Ralph (Rebekah) Ladnier, a sister, Irene Dunn Eden, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Ladnier enjoyed working in her garden, crocheting, and fishing. She loved spending time with her family. The family would like to thank the staff of Dixie White House, the staff at Memorial Hospital 4th and 5th floors, and the staff of Gentiva Hospice.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 18, 2015, from 12 - 2 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Conn Cemetery.
