Ethel aÌ‚â‚Å“EffieaÌ‚â‚ J. Vidmar, age 79, of Gulfport, died Saturday, November 7, 2009 at her residence.
Mrs. Vidmar was born in Buffalo, NY on September 18, 1930 to the late Frank and Ethel Schraft. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Korean War. She worked in Civil Service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert and Raymond.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, James R. Vidmar of Gulfport; three children, Gary Vidmar, Caryn Rivers and Sally (Michael) Jensen, all of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Schraft; sisters, Alice Ackendorf and Joyce Dalton; and her long-time caregiver, Tonya Flowers.
The Graveside Service will be at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the National Cemetery in Biloxi. The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Beauvoir Road, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements and the guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
