Ethel Guilliot Nance, born September 13, 1925, of Biloxi, MS, went to be with her Lord on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008 at age 82.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Teles Fore Guilliot and Antoinette Guilliot; and siblings, Frederick Guilliot, Audrey Marie Guilliot Rasnake, and Edmund Joseph 'Tony' Guilliot.
She is survived by her five children, Mike Hare (Carol) of Biloxi, David Guilliot (Lynette) of Gulfport, Susan Day (Glen) of Charleston, SC, Kerry Nance (Maria) of Sacramento, CA, and Jerry Nance (Faith) of Brookhaven, MS.
She was a wonderful grandmother to her sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
She was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a devoted and well loved member of Bible Baptist Church, Gulfport. In previous years, she served in the nursery at First Baptist Church of Gulfport as a firm but loving caregiver. The children adored her in kind. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed.
The family has requested contributions be made in her memory to: Missions Fund of Bible Baptist Church, 12200 Dedeaux Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Gardens, Gulfport.
