Janice Welch Lee, age 91, of Woolmarket, passed away on August 19, 2020.
She was preceded in death by husband, Jesse A. Lee; a son, Andy Lee; a grandson, John Lee; and her parents, Russell and Gertrude Welch.
She is survived by her sons, Mike (Donna) Lee and Stewart (Shirley) Lee; 5 grandchildren, Stephen (Jessica) Lee, Joel (Aubrey) Lee, Paul Lee, Emily Lee, and Anthony Lee; 2 great-grandchildren, Conner Lee and Ethan Lee; and a granddaughter-in-law, Lindsey Lee; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was a faithful member of White Plains United Methodist Church and Coalville United Methodist Church where she taught bible classes for many years and was active in several organizations in the church. She was a founding member of Handsboro Eastern Star. She was dedicated to her family and church. Her beautiful smile and sweet disposition will be remembered by countless people in Woolmarket and surrounding communities.
The visitation will be on Monday, August 24, 2020, from 10 – 11 am at Coalville United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be at 11 am in the church. Interment will be in Coalville Cemetery.
