Mrs. Essie Peterson Ladner, age 79, resident of Kiln, left this world behind and ascended to Heaven to be with her Lord and her family who predeceased her on Sunday, October 17, 2010.
Mrs. Ladner was born in Hancock County to Lemas and Cornelia Cuevas Peterson in 1930. Mrs. Ladner was a homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andiess Ladner; her parents; sons, Evan Lusich and Gilbert ""Big G"" James; and one sister and three brothers.
She is survived by her children, Sherry Perkins of Dedeaux, Sandra Vance of Gulfport, Andrew Ladner of Dedeaux, Lorraine Vance of Dedeaux, and Regina Cooper from Dedeaux, and Tamela McCullar of Magnolia, TX; grandchildren, Vincent, Anthony, Jeffery, and Casey Perkins, Kristy Basinger and Pepper Vance, Brandie, Willie, and Brittany Beeson and Eyan Cooper, and Amber and Jennifer McCullar; 14 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010, at 2PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until Mass.
Burial will follow at Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Building Fund, 14595 Vidalia Rd., Pass Christian, MS 39571.
