Ernestine Saucier Ratcliff, age 81, of the Gulf Coast, died Friday, March 27, 2009 in Ocean Springs, MS.
Mrs. Ratcliff was a native and life long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a member of the Bellehaven Baptist Church, Ocean Springs. Mrs. Ratcliff worked for Bradley Cleaners, La Boutique, AustinaÌ‚â‚â„¢s, LawrenceaÌ‚â‚â„¢s and Eddies Drug Store.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ratcliff; also by siblings, Lillie Stuart Saucier, Iddo Saucier, Gladys Campbell, Thomas James Saucier and Vonciel Downs.
Survivors include her sister, Grace Hatten; daughters, Nina Ratcliff Houston and Brenda Ratcliff; two granddaughters, Tracey and Amber Houston; and two great grandchildren, Daren and Daura Peto.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Purvis. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until service time. Burial will follow at the Coaltown Cemetery in Purvis. The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport is in charge of the services.
