Ernestine """"Tina"""" B. Nice, age 76, and a resident of Biloxi, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in Gulfport.
Tina was born in Neshoba County, and worked as a supervisor at the Base Exchange on Keesler Air Force Base for 20 years. She was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Biloxi.
Mrs. Nice was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Nice; parents, Claude and Clara Rushing Beckham; aunt, Vera P. Beckham; sister, Olivia Beckham; and her lifelong companion, Leslie Hicks.
She is survived by her daughter, Teana Pearson, of Biloxi; four grandchildren: Edward A. Pearson, III, Melissa Edoria and her husband Gerald, Shannon Reyes, and Shane Shelby, Jr.; and 8 great-grandchildren: Amy Emily, Rhiannon, Elijah, Isaac, Destin, Julian, and Mia.
Friends are invited to visit from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2008 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 1904 Popps Ferry Rd, Biloxi, MS 39532.
