Ernest Edward Orman, III. “Chip”, age 62 a resident of D’Iberville, MS passed away on January 27, 2022.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Orman; his father, Ernest Edward Orman, Jr.; his wife, Mary Jo Orman; and a brother, Richard Orman.
Chip is survived by his children, Lacee Orman, Sarah Evans and her husband Hayden, Michael Orman and his wife Erica, and Matthew Baringer; his siblings, Susan Snyder (John), Bobby Orman (Mary), and sister-in-law, Buttons Orman; his grandchildren, Lakelynn Orman, Wesley Orman, and Josephine Evans; numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Chip is veteran of the United States Coast Guard, was a Supply Vessel Captain and loved being on the water in any capacity whether he was being the captain, crabbing, fishing or scuba diving. He also enjoyed hunting, craftsmanship and gardening.
He was a true southern gentleman who was loved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in his honor to Blair E. Baston Children’s Hospital at 2500 N. State St. Jackson, MS 39216.
