Ernest F. Cuevas

Ernest Frank ""Ernie"" Cuevas Jr. Born in New Orleans, LA on July 24, 1928. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest Frank ""Gator"" Cuevas Sr. and Donnie Alberta Carlton Cuevas and one sister Elsie Love Fricke.. He has resided in the Bay St. Louis area for most of his life. He retired from Blossman Gas with 25 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Irene Fricke Cuevas, one sister, Myrl Sims of Purvis, MS, seven children and their spouses, Patricia and James Baldree of Pearlington, MS, Frank and Marion Cuevas of Pass Christian, MS, Dennis and Joyce Cuevas of Wesson, MS, Pam and James Martin of Houston, TX, Donald and Melanie Cuevas of Bay St. Louis, MS, Faye and Tyrone Necaise of Fenton, MS and Lynn Ming of Waveland, MS, 41 grandchildren/spouses and 29 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, Sunday, January 16, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, 1911 McLauren Street, Waveland, MS. The
funeral service will be held Monday, January 17, 2010 at 2:00 pm, with
visitation from 10:00 to 2:00 pm, at the church. Burial will follow at
St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
