Ernest Julius ""JuJu"" Brewer, age 82 of Long Beach, died on Saturday, September 3, 2011, in Gulfport.
JuJu was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and was a member of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Eunice Brewer; brothers, Jessie and Earl Brewer and sisters, Margaret Tate Davis, Linda Gail Austin, and Betty Lou Williams.
JuJu is survived by his sisters, Bonnie Thompson, Aline (Greg) Smith, and Elaine (Gary) Odom; his brothers, Oscar (Carolyn) Brewer and Clyde (Brenda) Brewer and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, from 6pm-9pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Dixie Whitehouse and Woodland Village Nursing Homes for their special care that they provided to JuJu.
