Erlene "Evil" Ashford

Erlene Clark Ashford, 75, also known as Miss Evil, from Turkey Creek, Louisiana passed away on September 21, 2021.

Evil is survived by her sister, Norma Waits and husband Bolden. Her Daughter, Desiree A. Lafleur and her Fiancé Peter Cahill, and granddaughter’s Kristiana C.L. Lafleur and Elizabeth O. Richard, her grandsons Tarik Richard, Patrick Stogner Jr., and Jaxon P. Richard. Her brother in law Ronald Ashford, cousins Larry Deville and Paula Waits and Erica Waits.

She is preceded in death by her husband Verlin Lee Ashford, her parents Fulton Clark and Opal Deville Clark, Sister Barbara Clark and her daughter Krystal Clark.

Anyone who knew Evil, loved her. She was every child’s maw-maw, and every person’s friend. She could work a full time job, and party harder than anyone in a club. From admin work in the nursing homes, to poker runs on a motorcycle. From little Louisiana all the way across the waters to Other countries. She lived around the world and she lived life like it was meant to be. Everywhere, seeing everything, and experiencing life at its best. Evil will never be forgotten, not by her family, friends, and even those passing strangers. She was the light in a lot of people’s lives. She loved everyone she took into her life, and gave her all to the world around her. She will be missed so much. She is the inspiration that drives so many people in the world. She can rest proudly knowing she changed so many lives.

A Memorial will be held in Evil’s honor for her family and close friends on October 9, 2021. It will be hosted in her daughter, Desiree’s home, at 1pm to 3pm, in the Harahan, La area. You may contact the family for the address.
