Erin Morgan

Erin Antoinette Moody Morrison Muths Morgan died on January 5, 2018, in Fort Collins, Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Muths; her parents, Mike Moody and Louise Moody Morrison; her step-father, William S. Morrison, Jr.; and her second husband Richard Morgan.
She is survived by her daughter, Erin Louise Muths; and  her granddaughter, Arwen Erin Muths Lyons, of Fort Collins, Colorado; one brother, William S. Morrison III (Alexandra); niece, Anna Louise Morrison Blanchard (Tim); nephews, William S. Morrison IV (Stevie), Dean Muths (Liz), Brian Muths and Craig Muths (Cindy), all of Houston, Texas.
Erin was born in Hammond, LA on December 26 ^th , 1933. She attended high school at the Southeastern Louisiana College lab school, graduating in 1952. She attended Southwestern at Memphis and Auburn University where she was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. Erin graduated with a degree in mathematics from Auburn in 1956. She was recruited by Boeing Aircraft Company and moved to Seattle with her husband, Tom Muths. Erin worked for Boeing for 5 years then moved to Sheridan, and later Jackson, Wyoming with her family where she taught school, was a librarian, and worked closely with Tom as an architectural administrator and research associate in their architecture and historical restoration firm. Erin was National President of the Society of Architectural Administrators (now Society of Design Administrators) 1984-1985. She was active in the Baptist Church and community choirs, the Fine Arts Guild and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) in Jackson where she initiated the Davey Jackson Chapter of DAR. She and Tom moved to Washington, D.C. where they lived until his death in 1988. There she worked for the US International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and for Mrs. Marvin Patterson as a curator. She returned to Hammond for several years, then moved to Colorado after the birth of her only granddaughter. In Fort Collins she was active in DAR and church choir. Erin traveled with her husband Tom, including Europe in 1958 (by bicycle), Alaska in 1963, and Russia in 1979 and also with her daughter and granddaughter to Greece, Scotland, and Australia in 1994 and 2011.
The graveside service was held on January 12th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bat Conservation International ( http://www.batcon.org/ ). The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving the family.
