Eric "E" Howard Harris, age 55, gained his heavenly wings on Thursday, February 28, 2019.
He was born on August 5, 1963, in Gulfport, MS, to Mrs. Lynn Harris Edwards and the late Mr.Woodie Howard "Sonny" Cameron.
He was preceded in death by his father; his younger sister, Brenda Stapleton; his brother, Marvin McMillan; his maternal grandparents, Mr. Henry Harris & Mrs. Effie King; and paternal grandparents, Mr. Woody Cameron & Mrs. Ruby Knight Cameron Brister.
Survivors include his wife, Trendia Rena Magee Harris; two children, Marquael Butler and Miracle Monique Harris; his mother, Lynn Edwards; his loving aunt, Bennie C. Scott; his 3 sisters, Natasha (John) Cameron Boyd, Angela (Chris) Jackson, and Charlonda (Derek) Brown; his 7 brothers, Leonard (Letecia) Stapleton, Roger (Melissa) Stapleton, Marshall Edwards, Cedric (Jessica) Edwards, Howard Darron Cameron, Joseph Mcmillan, and Kenyate Edwards; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will greatly miss him.
Eric's infectious smile, sense of humor, charismatic personality, love of dance, baseball, and golf, his unorthodox life, positive outlook on life, & joy in the simple things will be truly be missed.
Don't be troubled. Believe in God, and believe in me. My Father's house has many rooms. If that were not true, would I have told you that I'm going to prepare a place for you? If I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again. Then I will bring you into my presence so that you will be where I am.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 16, 2019, at The Nourishing Place, 606 Tennessee Street, Gulfport, MS.
