Eola Ball

Eola Ball, 97, passed way April 13, 2025, at her home in Long Beach, MS.

She was born on July 5, 1927. Eola was a graduate of Long Beach High School. Her commitment to her faith led her to become a founding member of the Bible Fellowship Church. Eola's love for the church was matched by her passion for volunteer work, exemplified by her long-standing service at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport and her role as a Cub Scout Leader, where she inspired and guided young minds. Eola embraced a variety of interests, particularly gardening and Bible study. 

Eola is survived by her son, "Pete" (Jackie) Ball; grandchildren, Michael Ball (Amanda) and David Ball (Missy); great-grandchildren, Nathan Ball (Kristen), Abigail Aeschliman (Samuel), Christian Ball (Jessalyn), Lauren Black (William), Aaron Ball, Julia Ball, Allison Ball, and Tarzah Ball; great-great-grandchild, Elliot Ball.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alvin Ball; all six of her siblings; and great-great grandson, Jonathan Aeschliman.

Eola will be remembered as Alvin's wife for 50 years, Pete's mother for 75 years, Jackie's mother in love for 55 years,  Michael's Mawmaw for 51 years, David's Mawmaw for 47 years, a great-grand mother for 25 years, and a great-great grandmother for 4 months. 

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life service begins at 5:30 p.m. at  Bible Fellowship Church,. 7030 Menge Ave. in Gulfport.

The Ball family requests that contributions be made to the Bible Fellowship Church, in Eola's name, 7030 Menge Ave, Pass Christian, MS.
