Rev. Emmett James Pillault, age 65, resident of Kiln, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, in Mobile, AL.
He was born in New Orleans, LA to Edwin and Emily Jaeger Pillault. He was a longtime entertainer in NOLA until he answered a call to serve Jesus in the ministry. He will be remembered for the penny crosses that he gave to those he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, H.C. Olivier and Richard Olivier, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Pillault; children, Kerri Lawless (Robbie), Mark Pillault, Tina Woodmansee (Thomas), Gerald Fayard (Carmen), Maria Baker; brothers, Edwin Fleischmann and Raymond Cardin; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Faith Assembly of God, Kiln, where friends may visit from 4-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at RIEMANN FAMLY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, at 12 o'clock Noon on Monday, where friends may visit after 9 a.m.
Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
A gathering will be held at the funeral home following the interment.
