She sat quietly in her chair, Peacefully she gave up her worldly care Her hands disabled. Her glasses on a bedside table. She gave up the ghost. As she was received by God her heavenly host. Emma Burdonne Young died on August 26, 2009. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Wash and Etha Fayard, her husband Mark Young, and seven brothers and one sister. She is survived by her step grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews plus hundreds of friends from across the Gulf Coast. She is also survived by her loyal friend James Ryan, a nurse practictioner at Memorial Hospital and the Victor Chatham Family. Ms Young gave her life in service as a Registered Nurse to the people of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, more especially the Woolmarket Community and the Coalville United Methodist Church. May her soul rest in sweet peace.
Services will be held at the Coalville United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 29th with visitation two hours prior to service and a reception to follow.
